A handsome chromolithograph from "one of the finest fruit books ever issued" (Great Flower Books, p.101), "The Herefordshire Pomona," published under the auspices of the Woolhope Club. This plate LII is an attractive and brightly colored image of five apple varieties, with a flowering branch, drawn by Alice B. Ellis and printed by G. Severeyns, Brussels.
